I had the opportunity and time to lineup to purchase goro's last week. Goro's store open at 11:00am sharp. But closed on Wednesdays. I arrived at 10:30 and there was already a huge line infront of me. The line itself was interesting. Infront of me was an old man wearing head to toe vintage denim, and behind me was a couple with a kid in the pram also lining up. I must say the customer base is the most diverse I've ever seen from any store.
Customers went in by number of 4 people. And the general time spent was 20 minutes or so per group. Which means I ended up lining for 2 and half hours. Thanks to Japanese courtesy, I could at least walk to the nearby Lawson without someone stealing my spot.
It wasn't so bad. The items that I acquired definitely made it worthwhile!
